Sheltering animals

What we do: Emergency animal shelters during Butte County disasters.

When fire erupts and local residents have to quickly leave their homes, what do they do with their animals?

NVADG, in partnership with Butte County Animal Control, activates to provide emergency shelters for small and large animals. The NVADG volunteers train year-round on best practices for animal handling, feeding, first aid, disinfection procedures and stressed animal care for short-term disaster sheltering.
