Saturday & Sunday January 15 & 16, 2022. 9am – 5pm each day
Location: Butte County Search and Rescue Classroom, 3965 Morrow Lane, Chico
All new NVADG volunteers are required to attend this 16-hour orientation training.
Volunteers are also expected to make every attempt to be available to support animals when NVADG is activated for deployment during a disaster here in Butte County. If after attending orientation training you feel this is not for you, no problem! Just let us know so we can put you on our back-up / inactive list.
There is a $65 New Volunteer Orientation and Awareness Training Fee. It covers your the administration, training and one uniform T-shirt.
This is a TWO-STEP process:
#1 You will enter your application information into Volunteer Impact, our volunteer database. Volunteer Impact will be your central resource for signing up, getting information and keeping your contact information current. It is fully secure. CLICK HERE TO BEGIN YOUR APPLICATION
#2 After you submit your information, you’ll be directed to PayPal to use a credit card to pay the $65 fee. You don’t have to be a Paypal user, and you can use any credit card you want. If the name(s) your are paying for are different from the name on your application, please include that info in the text line provided.
