How to Name NVADG in Your Will or Trust

Should you ever wish to leave a lasting impact and support the valuable work of NVADG, you may consider including us in your will. Your generous gesture would ensure that our mission continues to thrive and positively impact future generations.

If you already have a Will or Trust, there is no need to change or redraw the entire document. A simple, and substantially less costly, “Codicil” or “Amendment” to the original document may suffice. If you currently do not have a Will, then now is a great time to create one.

NVADG is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

Our legal name: “North Valley Animal Disaster Group”

Our mailing address: “P.O. Box 441, Chico CA 95927”

NVADG’s Federal identification number is: 06-1672191

Suggested Bequest Language:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to the North Valley Animal Disaster Group, a nonprofit organization, whose mailing address is P.O. Box 441, Chico, California, 95927, USA, the real property located at (fill in the blank) to be used by NVADG to further its goals of education, evacuation, rescue, and sheltering of animals as prescribed in its mission statement.”

Most financial accounts allow you to designate NVADG as a beneficiary upon your passing. Simply contact your bank or your plan administrator for specific instructions (Life Insurance, Retirement Accounts, IRA. 401K, CD, Savings, etc.)

So basically, if you add NVADG to your will via a Codicil or Amendment, and use the legal information, Federal ID number, and language as listed above, everything will be done correctly.

Thank you again for your generous and valuable donation. It will mean a lot to the future of NVADG, and future generations of volunteers and the animals that they aid and assist.
