Other Ways to Help

In Butte County there are many ways to help NVADG while you await January New Volunteer training.

• The best animal rescue is the one no one needs to make. Help residents in high hazard areas create and keep defensible space around their homes. https://www.readyforwildfire.org/prepare-for-wildfire/get-ready/defensible-space/
• Since you never know which way fire will whip, assure your pets and your neighbor’s pets are ready to evacuate.
• Help raise money for NVADG. We raise money year-round to cover insurance and maintenance on our equipment, cost for our operations and warehousing, and training expense.
